Betty The Raccoon is a music band from Thessaloniki that plays heavy rock with a good bunch of metal and punk rock influences. It was initially formed by two brothers, Babis(Vocals/Guitars) and Diamantis(Drums) Fersizidis in 2014. They started playing shows in the city of Kavala under the name “FersiStorm”. Their energetic shows and high positive vibes caught the attention of many people around. In September of 2017 they moved in Thessaloniki changed the name of the band to Fersy The Raccoon and focused their majority of their energy to their own material. On February Stavros Skarlatos joined the band to fill the role of the bass player. The band played a one show during 2017 on Kafodeio Elliniko and after that both Diamantis and Stavros had to step out due to their demanding work schedules. Babis was in search of new members while he was working non-stop on fresh new material. In August 2017 he met current bassist, Christina Gousiou and 4 months later Bill Melachrinos joins the band. Fast forward March 2018 and Bill Kritikopoylos completes the quartet of joy and the band since then is working on pre-production of their first album.
